About The Position

As an EMT-B at Victory EMS, you will provide essential emergency and non-emergency medical transportation services, ensuring patient safety and comfort during transport. This role involves working collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate care and uphold the highest standards of patient service.

Requirements

• Current EMT-B certification in the state of Idaho (or ability to obtain prior to start).
• Valid BLS/CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and move patients (up to 250 lbs) using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to handle stressful situations with composure.

Nice To Haves

• Prior EMS experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver basic life support (BLS) care in compliance with state and local protocols.
• Safely transport patients to and from healthcare facilities, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and administer care under EMT-B scope of practice.
• Collaborate with paramedics, other EMTs, and healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform routine vehicle and equipment checks to maintain operational readiness.
• Accurately complete patient care reports and other required documentation in a timely manner.
• Follow all company policies, state regulations, and EMS protocols.
• Represent Victory with integrity, compassion, and a commitment to excellence.
