About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State Driver's License.
• State EMT-Basic certification.
• CPR/BLS certifications.
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Provide an assessment of patients and determine necessary care.
• Deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Utilize appropriate EMT skills including communications and medical equipment.
• Operate an ambulance in compliance with safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to enhance AMR's image and community relations.
