About The Position

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Training Program at AmeriPro Health in Romulus, MI, is designed for motivated, compassionate, and service-minded individuals who are passionate about helping others and can stay calm under pressure. This 16-week intensive program offers a comprehensive foundation in essential EMT skills, preparing candidates for fieldwork and a meaningful career in emergency medical services. The program includes two class sessions: Class 1 runs from January 6, 2026, to April 30, 2026, and Class 2 runs from January 10, 2026, to May 16, 2026. Accepted students will have 100% of their tuition paid and will be guaranteed full-time employment upon graduation and obtaining NREMT and MI state EMT certification. Candidates will commit to a 1-year full-time EMT position with AmeriPro Health after certification.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent qualification
  • Valid motor vehicle operator's license
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Technology proficiency
  • Clear and successful completion of a comprehensive background check and drug screening
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team

Responsibilities

  • Delivering babies
  • Administering oxygen, CPR, and EpiPen/Narcan for overdoses
  • Splinting and bandaging fractures
  • Conducting full medical and trauma assessments
  • Administering activated charcoal for overdoses
