EMS Skills Instructor - Hourly
About The Position
Required Qualifications Emergency Medical Technician, Advanced EMT or Paramedic certification. 1 year of full time EMS agency experience or WSU faculty recommendation. Utah Emergency Medical Technician certification for EMT skills position. National Registry Paramedic and Utah certification for Paramedic skills position. Current AHA BCLS certification requred for both positions. AHA ACLS and PALS required for Paramedic instruction. Basic computer literacy. Preferred Qualifications Associate or Bachelors degree. Graduation from a CAAHEP /CoAEMSP accredited paramedic program. Utah Bureau of EMS or NAEMSE Instructor’s certification. Critical Care Transport Course completion.
