Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
1-3 years of experience in workforce scheduling, timekeeping, or HRIS systems
Prior experience in platforms such as UKG Dimensions, UKG Ready, or UKG Pro WFM is highly desirable

Responsibilities

The EMS Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and maintaining system-wide scheduling for full-time, swing, and PRN personnel.
This role ensures optimal shift coverage by managing schedule revisions and filling open shifts resulting from illness, injury, vacation, holidays, continuing education, personal time off, or administrative leave.
The Scheduler plays a key role in maintaining operational readiness by determining daily and long-term coverage requirements and managing the efficient use of unit hours.
The EMS Scheduler is accountable for completing all assigned payroll responsibilities for each pay period, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with leadership and field staff to support workforce needs and compliance with staffing policies.
