About The Position

Fulfill duties and responsibilities associated with a full-time tenure track
faculty position (RSCC PA-24-01) including providing instruction (classroom,
lab, and/or clinical) in various levels of EMS courses (basic, advanced, and/or
paramedic) as assigned.

Anticipated begin date Fall semester 2026.

Requirements

• Associate degree required.
• Currently licensed as TN paramedic with Instructor Coordinator credential.
• Minimum 2 yrs pre-hospital experience.
• Current certification as CPR instructor.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Prior experience in EMS instruction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill duties and responsibilities associated with a full-time tenure track faculty position (RSCC PA-24-01) including providing instruction (classroom, lab, and/or clinical) in various levels of EMS courses (basic, advanced, and/or paramedic) as assigned.
• Serve on assigned college and programmatic committees as assigned.
• Participate in the EMS Advisory Committee.
• Advise students as assigned.
• Participate in college and programmatic accreditation activities. - (Essential)
