Requirements

  • EMSVO or successfully completed EVOC/CEVO course required
  • Active driver's license (for at least 2 years)
  • Clean driving record
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull more than 125lbs
  • BLS CPR for the Healthcare Provider - required prior to orientation
  • Successfully complete Physical Aptitude Test

Nice To Haves

  • EMR certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Be a team player, providers must provide necessary assistance to ensure system sanitation, readiness and adherence to quality assurance standards
  • Be flexible as your work shift schedule may vary and start and shift times may vary due to the nature of the business
  • Know the roads a thorough working knowledge of local geography
  • Remain up to date with current standards of care, including equipment functions and uses and all licenses
  • Conduct yourself in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner at all times when dealing with patients, co-workers, supervisors and or the public
  • Provide top tier transport to facilities by assuming responsibilities for care of the patient and carrying out established policies and procedures
  • Keep the vehicle clean and in good running order throughout the shift
  • Prepare and submit reports accordingly
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull patients in accordance with Ambulnz protocols
  • Respond promptly to assignments as required by the Dispatch Center
  • Other tasks as assigned
