Operate an EMS Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) console, multi-line phone system, and computer terminal. Answer incoming calls, gather critical information, and accurately enter details into the dispatch system. Relay call information to dispatchers and other communications staff promptly and clearly. Transfer calls or coordinate with appropriate departments as needed. Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns and offering solutions. Document all call notes, times, and outcomes accurately. Coordinate with outside agencies to arrange mutual aid when required. Maintain confidentiality of all patient, employee, and company information in compliance with HIPAA. Perform additional duties as assigned by Communications leadership.
