Join the dedicated team of professionals of the Department of Safety and Emergency Services in the division of EMS & Fire Administration. This position is responsible for ensuring that all the stakeholders in the Pinellas County EMS system have and can maintain their credentials and certifications. These stakeholders include all paramedics and EMTs working with in the Pinellas County EMS system for Sunstar and the 18 municipal fire departments and independent fire districts. This position also coordinates the scheduling of instructors for Continuing Medical Education and ensures the availability and suitability of training sites to meet the requisite number of classes. Finally, they will process all applications for wheelchair transportation and advanced life support requests for Certificates of Public Convenience and necessity (COPCN). This position is part of a team and will be expected to work closely with other managers and coordinators to ensure compliance with the ambulance contract and the agreements with the other first responder agencies of the Pinellas County EMS system. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5 p.m. Must pass a Level 2 CJIS background check.
