About The Position
Superior Industrial Fire Services, Inc. is hiring Industrial Firefighters with a passion for firefighting and a demonstrated commitment to cultivating a positive, collaborative work environment. This opening is to work at the BMW Plant in Greer or Woodruff, South Carolina. We offer a base annual starting rate of $46,026 with additional overtime available. Requirements
- Valid Driver's License (preferred with Class E endorsement) with acceptable driving record
- Current NFPA 1001 Firefighter II with Hazardous Materials-Operations (State, IFSAC, or Pro-Board issued)
- Current EMR certification (State or National Registry issued)
- Current CPR/AED
- Completion of NIMS ICS-100, 200, 700, and 800 at time of hire.
- Successfully completion of pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check
Responsibilities
- Under direct supervision, trains for and participates in duties and related responsibilities for controlling and extinguishing fires
- Rescuing persons endangered by structural fires
- Responding to and providing assistance for medical aid calls, vehicle accidents and HazMat incidents.
