About The Position

The role of the EMR Trainer is to conduct training programs for our new andexisting users. As a trainer, you will work with providers, hospital partnersand our staff to ensure that our EMR enhances physician productivity and the delivery of patient care. You will blend our current policies, clinical qualitytogether into a highly interactive learning experience.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years in LPN/RN role preferred
  • Highly proficient in Electronic Medical Records
  • Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Educational, training, presentation and listening skills
  • Excellent communication, decision making, leadership andproblem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate withall levels of the organization
  • Detail oriented and self-motivated are a must

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Wound Expert highly desirable
  • Knowledge of wound care or hyperbaric medicine a plus
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks and project manage

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with providers and center personnel to facilitate training on the EMR in a highly interactive learning manner.
  • Possess a keen understanding of clinical work flows and how software can aid in patient care.
  • Develop and prepare materials that are needed to lead trainingsessions in group and/or one-on-one settings. These are done face to face and in a webex manner.
  • Collaboratively create and maintain learning curriculum for new and existing staff.
  • Continually evaluate and adjust learning plan.
  • Work with management/EMR vendor to provide communications onsystem updates.
  • Gather, review and apply end user feedback for curriculum, delivery, etc. to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Participate in creation of e-learning tips and training materials.
  • Document, provide feedback, answer questions and provide enhancement requests.
  • Identify opportunities for process and quality improvement forpatient flow.
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Maintain a positive relationship with the end user base, operation, application and training team colleagues.
  • Travel to sites to provide on-site support
