East House is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to supporting individuals on their journey to recovery. We provide comprehensive services, including residential support, counseling, peer support and community outreach to empower individuals to overcome mental health and substance use disorders and lead fulfilling lives. Our mission is to foster a supportive environment that promotes healing and long-term recovery. Under the general direction of the Community Oriented Recovery and Empowerment (CORE) Services Clinical Supervisor and Directory of Recovery Support Services, the Empowerment Services Peer Support is responsible for providing non-clinical, peer-delivered services with focus on rehabilitation, recovery, and resilience. They are designed to promote skills for coping with and managing behavioral health symptoms while facilitating the utilization of natural supports and community resources for adults in the community. This can include advocacy, outreach and engagement, self-help tools, recovery supports, transitional supports, and pre-crisis and crisis supports. The peer carries out all job responsibilities with fidelity and accountability to the Agencies and Program Mission, Vision, Values, Guiding Principles, and Strategic Plan.
