About The Position

As Employment Tax, Senior Supervisor, you will manage end-to-end payroll tax duties for salaried and hourly personnel across all US locations. This role involves ensuring compliance with company policies and various regulations while serving as the primary contact for payroll inquiries. You will also supervise a team to optimize performance and assist with year-end payroll filings.

Requirements

• Bachelors' Degree
• 5+ years of employment tax experience in a Payroll/Payroll Tax position within a national organization.

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated experience in supervisory roles.
• Knowledge of the GlobalView (ADP) SAP based payroll system.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word).
• Sound knowledge of Payroll Tax Administration and Human Resources practices and procedures. APA - CPP helpful.
• Good human relations and interpersonal skills with effective communication abilities.
• Ability to lead a team.
• Excellent organizational skills, time management, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Good command of the English language, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Update payroll tax data changes in the payroll system including W4s, daily reports, internal filings, and amendment balancing.
• Supervise a team of analysts to ensure accurate and timely processing of tax data, ensuring documents are properly completed and authorized prior to processing.
• Review tax daily reporting prior to the live production of payroll.
• Reconcile data errors and communicate and record corrective actions.
• Respond to employee and management inquiries related to employment taxes.
• Assist with balancing year-end payroll filings and reports according to Federal and State legislation and deadlines, including W2s and annual reconciliations.
• Assist with projects and assignments as required.
