Employment Support Specialist / DSP – Help Adults Succeed at Work Looking for a meaningful job where you can help people succeed AND have your evenings and weekends free ? At ECHO , we're hiring an Employment Support Specialist to help adults with disabilities find, learn, and succeed in real jobs in the community. 👉 Monday–Friday only (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM) 👉 No nights. No weekends. Requirements
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening (including fingerprinting)
- Experience in human services or related field preferred-but we will train the right person
- Patient, encouraging, and dependable
- Strong communicator who enjoys working with people
- Interested in coaching, mentoring, or teaching others
- Comfortable working in different community settings
Responsibilities
- Coach and support individuals on the job at local businesses
- Help build confidence, independence, and job skills
- Assist with learning tasks, routines, and workplace expectations
- Support positive relationships between participants and employers
- Track progress and celebrate milestones
- Ensure safety and follow individualized support plans
