About The Position

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of different programs throughout Arizona. CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness. Employment Specialist provides work related services, including assessment, job readiness training and skills building with patients. This position is expected to spend at least 80% or more time in community working with employers, community colleges, skills centers, probation and the criminal justice system. Will also be required to utilize this time in the community to work with each client after employment is obtained to ensure ongoing supports are given to sustain active and meaningful employment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in either the behavioral health or medical field required.
Current AZ Driver’s License (valid and in good standing)
Clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record
Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) in accordance with A.A.C. R9-10-101.33 and CBI Clinical Policies and Procedures
Fingerprint Clearance Card

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree in behavioral health or medical field preferred.
Lived experience in recovery from mental health and substance use disorders, homelessness, family members and veterans preferred.
Peer Certification (if applicable)
