About The Position
As a Rehabilitation and Employment Specialist at MaineHealth, you will be instrumental in empowering individuals with complex disabilities to achieve their employment goals. This full-time position places you at the forefront of a dedicated team that collaborates closely with mental health clinicians and rehabilitation professionals. Your primary focus will be on applying advanced rehabilitation and supported employment technologies to assist individuals in finding and maintaining meaningful employment. You will also serve as a crucial link between our organization and local businesses, fostering partnerships that create job opportunities for those you support. In this role, you will actively participate in organizational development activities, helping to identify potential members for an Employer Consortium. This initiative aims to expand the network of support available to individuals with disabilities, ensuring they have access to the resources and opportunities necessary for success in the workforce. Your efforts will not only contribute to the personal growth of the individuals you serve but also enhance the overall mission of MaineHealth as the largest employer in the state and a leading healthcare provider in Northern New England.
