About The Position

As an Employment & Onboarding Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to both new hires and internal partners. In this highly collaborative position, you will help guide candidates and employees through the hiring and onboarding process, ensuring a smooth, compliant, and welcoming experience. From coordinating clearances to supporting Talent Acquisition and Compliance, you will be the go-to expert for getting team members up and running—while contributing to a culture of excellence.

Requirements

• Exhibits 2+ years of prior relevant experience in Human Resources.
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.
• Possesses proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook, using them to stay organized and communicate efficiently.
• Holds a High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent.
• Manages time effectively, juggling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines with ease.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the employment process for all candidates in assigned business groups, including coordinating pre-employment clearances, relative/cohabitant approvals, gaming registration, pre-processing audits, onboarding and orientation scheduling, I-9 compliance, tip credit, and licensing requirements.
• Support property-level HR processes such as union/CBA membership entry, partnering with department leadership to ensure compliance and successful execution of initiatives.
• Coordinate with governing bodies and regulatory agencies on employment-related compliance.
• Provide administrative support for Okta and Workday.
• Participate in HR initiatives and special projects as assigned.
