About The Position

Overview Reports to: Manager, Talent Acquisition Functions Supervised: None Primary Functions: Responsible for supporting credit union and subsidiary recruitment, interviewing and selection activities. Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for ensuring compliance with established credit union and subsidiary policies and procedures in the staffing and recruitment functions. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge and ensure compliance with related federal, state and municipal laws and regulations. Provide guidance and assistance to managers and supervisors in the interpretation of policies, programs and procedures on matters related to staffing and recruitment. Interview and/or evaluate qualifications of applicants for direct hire placement of select positions. Review all considered candidate / hire documents to ensure quality and consistency. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the Recruitment and Onboarding activities and provide user instruction to hiring managers/supervisors as necessary. Serve as a lead to the Employment Specialists. Provide guidance and assistance as necessary. Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of personnel information and records. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education : High school graduate or the equivalent. Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education : Not applicable Experience/Skills : Three years experience in a relevant position with a minimum of two years Human Resources and/or staff recruitment experience. Requires strong communication and human relation skills with the ability to interview and assess candidate qualifications. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel required. Accurate data entry and effective time management skills required. Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks to meet expected timelines for assigned work. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Tenure : Assignment to the Employment Officer I (Category 10) or Employment Officer II (Category 09) will be determined by the candidate’s education or experience. Advancement requires management recommendation and will be based on the candidate’s certifications and/or performance. Compensation Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and applicable local or state wage requirements, and will fall within the range provided below. In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall between the minimum and midpoint of the listed range. Requirements
