About The Position

Squarespace is seeking an Employment & Litigation Counsel to support the company’s legal strategy across workplace matters and dispute resolution. In this role, the attorney will advise internal stakeholders on employment law issues, guide employee relations matters, and oversee litigation affecting the company. The position works closely with Human Resources, leadership, and operational teams to ensure compliance with employment regulations while managing risk across a growing global organization. The role will also coordinate with outside counsel, support litigation strategy, and provide practical legal guidance that helps the business address complex workplace and dispute-related matters. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in employment law and litigation, with the ability to translate legal complexity into clear, actionable guidance for business leaders. You are comfortable operating in a fast-moving technology environment, partnering closely with internal teams, and helping the organization navigate legal challenges with sound judgment and clarity.
