We are looking for an Employment Law Paralegal to be part of a dynamic and growing employment law team! This position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with NVIDIA’s in-house counsel, Human Resources, and all levels of management by playing an integral role in managing pre-litigation, litigation, and regulatory matters.

Requirements

  • Paralegal certificate with up-to-date CLE and/or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of experience working in a law firm representing technology companies or in-house legal department at a technology company.
  • Excellent communicator with both internal and external constituents at all levels.
  • Creativity and independence in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills as well as professional judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Support in-house counsel by responding to third-party subpoenas, and gathering information to respond to employee demand letters, disputes, litigation, and government inquiries (EEOC and state agencies).
  • Assist in managing discovery, including implementing legal holds, retaining, collecting and maintaining documents, and coordinating with outside counsel.
  • Partner closely with Human Resources, Payroll and Accounts Payable, and have a working knowledge of Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Maintain case files and records, including pleadings, discovery, and correspondence.
  • Monitor deadlines, calendars, and dockets.
