About The Position
Become an Employment and Training Program Coordinator with the County of Sonoma! The Human Services Department (HSD) is currently recruiting to fill three Employment and Training Program Coordinator (ETPC) positions, one in the newly formed Employment and Training Business Services Team, one in the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act's (WIOA) Adult and Dislocated Worker program, and one in the SonomaWORKS Employment Services program. ETPCs provide technical assistance, staff training, and program facilitation to Employment and Training Counselors who work directly with job seekers and SonomaWORKS participants. Although provision of direct services is not the primary function of these positions, Program Coordinators may provide direct counseling services to clients and/or carry a reduced and specialized caseload. ETPCs may also assist various Employment and Training Division programs in the development, modification, implementation, training, and evaluation of project or component policies, procedures, operations, and strategies.
