About The Position

The Employer Relations Coordinator at the University of Michigan's Career Development Office (CDO) plays a crucial role in managing recruiting operations and logistics for MBA, MAcc, MSCM, MM, MBAn, and BBA students. This hybrid position involves supporting both students and employers to enhance career services and maximize successful interactions during the recruiting process. The role requires flexibility in working hours, especially during peak recruiting seasons.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience in a professional team setting.
  • Experience working with students.
  • Experience coordinating and planning events.
  • Experience building or optimizing content.

Responsibilities

  • Manage logistical and tactical support for on and off-campus recruiting activities for over 4500 Michigan Ross students.
  • Provide companies with benchmarking analysis to strengthen their on-campus recruiting relationships.
  • Participate in planning and knowledge sharing of recruitment practices and gather student feedback for company strategy meetings.
  • Maintain, evaluate, and approve over 800 company recruiting activities and 5000 job schedules annually.
  • Advise students on the on-campus interview process and how to correspond with company recruiters.
  • Act as the resident expert on the recruiting and advising system (12Twenty) for students and recruiters.
  • Represent CDO to current and visiting prospective students and student organizations.
  • Manage logistical support for the Sales Track Program and the Sales Expo Career Fair.
