About The Position

The Employer Health Specialist at The Iowa Clinic is responsible for managing clinical scheduling, registration, and patient communications for Employer Health Services. This role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating Employer Health Programs, ensuring exceptional experiences for employers and employees while working standard clinic hours.

Requirements

• Current State of Iowa Certification as a Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Dietitian, or Health Science Related Certification.
• Minimum health certification and/or degree.
• Bachelor's degree in health sciences related field preferred.
• Two years clinical experience preferred.
• Experience in a case management role preferred.
• Exceptional patient skills.
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
• A positive and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of clinical scheduling and registration for Employer Health Services appointments.
• Communicate delays or changes for appointments effectively.
• Plan, implement, bill, and invoice Employer Health Programs and the Executive Health Program.
• Ensure exceptional experiences for key employers, employees, and medical groups.
• Assist in the measurement and evaluation of Employer Health Programs and Executive Health Programs.
