About The Position

Responsible for administrative support and assistance to the PPE/Knife Room Supervisor, employees and management as directed. Responsible for handing out all equipment to production employees as needed while adhering to guidelines set forth for the room. Excellent customer service skills required, excellent attitude and ability to work in a team environment
Requirements
- A High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years experience in a service or inventory control environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to climb ladders and platforms, and enter confined spaces and wear all safety equipment.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds or more.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for handing out all equipment to production employees as needed while adhering to guidelines set forth for the room.
- Responsible for preparing all items that are handed out on a daily basis (gloves, aprons, sleeves, sandpaper, etc.)
- Responsible for sorting and organizing cotton gloves, cut resistant gloves, and cut resistant sleeves after they have been washed.
- Responsible for issuing and recording all equipment to new employees as well as issuing equipment to employees who may change positions while adhering to the guidelines of the room.
- Responsible for exchanging equipment and collecting equipment no longer necessary for a production employee.
- Responsible for processing paper work and ensuring that equipment is cleaned and returned by terminating production employees and will be responsible for claiming lockers upon termination of production employees.
- Responsible for completing paperwork and tracking items in Waterwheel that are handed out or returned to the room.
- Responsible for ensuring that a clean and safe work environment is maintained throughout the shift
- Other Duties as assigned by management.
