As an Employee Relations Specialist II, you will have the opportunity to provide support for the employee relations function. You will engage in the development and implementation of employee relations policies and procedures. Your role will involve advising, training, and consulting employees on policies, corrective actions, and issue resolution. You will perform various employee relations duties, including unemployment, workers' compensation, performance and behavior improvement plans, EEOC and grievance resolution. Additionally, you will coordinate and promote programs that ensure successful communication with employees, promoting our desired corporate culture. You will also resolve escalated issues arising from negative workplace situations, ensuring fair and consistent treatment. Collaboration with Credit Union leadership, departments, and staff will be essential to connect and engage with employees and enhance their employment experience. You will conduct research to assess levels of employee engagement connection and effectiveness by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data. Tracking engagement-related performance metrics and conveying engagement-related information through programs/outreach with diverse groups of employees will also be part of your responsibilities. Finally, you will complete any other job-related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization's Values.
