About The Position

The Employee Relations Partner at Sharp Healthcare is a technical professional responsible for providing guidance and support in employee relations and HR functions across the organization. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 2 Years progressive experience in HR/employee relations.

• Master's Degree
• Juris Doctor (JD)
• 2 Years of experience in an employee relations capacity in a healthcare setting.
• Prior experience working in a unionized environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sharp team members and management in resolving various employment-related concerns.
• Provide guidance and advice to department administrators on staff employment issues of varying complexity.
• Support department leaders and managers' initiatives to effect change, providing HR oversight to departments engaged in reorganizations.
• Collaborate with Labor Relations to assist departments through the grievance process and other union-related matters.
• Investigate a wide range of employee complaints, including harassment and discrimination allegations.
• Assist in the development of new HR-related policies and provide guidance on contract and policy interpretation.
• Participate in regular Labor & Employee Relations training for administrators and managers.
• Draft correspondence for leaders in response to grievances, complaints, and investigations.
