As a member of the HR team, the Employee Member Relations Partner supports positive team member (TM) experience through effective information delivery, resource education, concern resolution, and manager support. This role collaborates with stakeholders to identify and implement solutions that foster a fair, respectful, and inclusive work environment The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to provide consultative guidance to managers and team members within the organization, possess excellent follow-up and follow-through, sense of urgency, communication and conflict resolution skills. In the Role Coach and provide advice to managers and team members regarding organizational and team member issues while providing proactive and pragmatic solutions Provide advice and support to managers focused on best team member relations practices and strategies for managing performance and team member experience. Serve as a balanced advocate for managers and team members through an established framework of respectful and inclusive interactions Investigate, analyze, and resolve complex employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner Research and explain employment laws and requirements to managers and team members Facilitate awareness of TM programs, benefits and policies Participate in projects focused on continued team member relations improvement Requirements 5 + years human resources business partner/generalist, employee relations specialist or consultant experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Bachelors Degree in Management, Human Resources or Business Administration preferred Strong ability to read a situation, navigate sensitivities and find creative solutions to work environment, people issues and managerial and organizational challenges Proficiency in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions, while interpreting applicable law Expertise in effective and appropriate influencing skills Possess ability to remain tactful, calm, and persuasive in controversial and/or confrontational situations Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and/or related HRIS software Strong understanding of employment laws such as ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, FLSA, ADA, and other federal and state laws covering discrimination and equal opportunity employment Demonstrated experience with strategies such as coaching and counseling techniques, facilitation/mediation, conflict resolution, corrective action, performance improvement planning, and other approaches to address employee relations concerns Excellent written and verbal communication; high quality document preparation and strong interpersonal skills Natural problem-solving ability to improve situations for team member relations
