POSITION SUMMARY: The Employee Relations Manager leads the employee relations function, overseeing a team of specialists while also managing their own portfolio of complex employee relations cases. This role ensures compliance with labor laws and balances the needs of the business with a strategic, non-traditional HR approach. Key responsibilities include addressing employee concerns, conducting investigations, and overseeing leave of absence and workers' compensation programs. The manager also plays a critical role in developing policies, updating the employee handbook, and delivering training on employee relations topics. In addition to team leadership, the Employee Relations Manager partners closely with other HR functions and regularly reports on employee relations trends and activities to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
