About The Position

The Employee Relations Investigator at Panasonic Energy North America (PENA) plays a crucial role in conducting investigations into workplace concerns, ensuring a fair and equitable work environment. This position involves collaborating with various teams to address employee issues, promote company values, and maintain compliance with policies and regulations. The investigator will document findings, provide recommendations, and support positive employee engagement within the organization.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of relevant employee relations or HR experience, preferably focused on ER investigations.
  • Knowledge of applicable workplace laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct prompt, fair, impartial, and thorough investigations into sensitive employee relations issues.
  • Document investigative efforts using a case management system.
  • Conduct investigatory interviews and analyze relevant evidence.
  • Write investigation reports and deliver debriefs with stakeholders.
  • Ensure consistent application of PENA policies and compliance.
  • Respond to sensitive concerns and allegations as required.
  • Foster effective relationships with HR teams, legal counsel, and business leaders.
  • Work with HR Business Partners on managing and resolving ER issues.
  • Communicate and educate on policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Collaborate with Employee Relations leadership to refine the employee relations function.
  • Participate in the development and deployment of ER-related training.
