Requirements

  • High School Graduate/GED
  • Two years of clinical nursing experience
  • Registered Nurse: AZ
  • Basic Life Support - CPR
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing providing excellent customer service.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities/tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows.

Nice To Haves

  • Two years of Employee Wellness/HealthNurse experience.
  • Electronic medical record experience

Responsibilities

  • Pre-Employment Physical Examinations Performs pre-employment health assessments for all new hires.
  • Employee TB Prevention Program and FIT Respirator Testing Administers TB skin testing to all employees, interprets results of skin tests and if necessary (positive), orders chest x-ray and coordinates skin testing program for organization. Administers Employee FIT Respirator Testing for all employees.
  • Volunteer TB Screening Program for Volunteers Administers TB skin testing for all YRMC volunteers and does follow up skin test interpretation. Administers Tuberculin Skin Testing.
