About The Position

Copley Hospital, located in Morrisville/Stowe VT, is in search of an Employee Health Clinician to join our team! Want to work in a vital role while helping to support your community? Copley Hospital is seeking an LPN, RN or APP to join our team as an Employee Health Clinician. The Employee Health Clinician is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Registered Nurse, or Advanced Practice Provider (APP) who provides direct and indirect nursing care for Copley employees, contract employees, and non-employee groups, with particular emphasis in the area of occupational and community health. The Employee Health Clinician utilizes established protocols and current standards of care to meet the wide variety of health care needs of the Copley Hospital employee population. They identify work-related risks and hazards in a company environment, assess health statuses, develop programs for wellness, promote good overall health and well-being, and more. This is a Full-Time position (PT available). Copley Hospital has a variety of shifts available across Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem needs. An offer may vary based on factors such as experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market data. An offer of employment may be outside of the posted range based on those factors.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • 2+ years of related healthcare experience.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Current Vermont APP, RN, or LPN licensure in good standing with no restrictions or stipulations.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates required follow-up and education, if necessary, for Post-Exposure or Employee Injury and ensures confidentiality.
  • Develops and implements wellness initiatives based on high usage medical insurance rates.
  • Develop and provide health education via health screenings, new employee orientation, and periodic classes and workshops.
  • Educates employees regarding importance of healthy lifestyle.
  • Promotes good health and disease prevention strategies using evidence based practice.
  • Provide immunizations for employees and contracted individuals.
  • Analyze and assess wellness program for participation and effectiveness.
  • Serve as a resource for employees, managers, and senior leadership regarding employee health concerns and wellness topics/issues.
  • Promotes good health and disease prevention strategies.
  • Educates employees regarding importance of healthy lifestyle.
  • Assists community members and businesses in development of wellness goals and implementation of action plans.
