About The Position

The Employee Health Clinic Manager RN at St. David's Healthcare plays a crucial role in ensuring high-quality patient-centered care by overseeing the Occupational and Employee Health Program. This program is designed to promote employee wellness, maintain productivity, decrease absenteeism, and promote cost containment. The manager is responsible for the business and clinical operations of St. David's Occupational Health Services, which includes managing three primary service lines: workers' compensation/work injury treatment, employee health and wellness services, and a corporate service line for employment-related testing. The role requires providing patient care as necessary and appropriate, while also supervising staff across multiple physical locations. In this position, the manager collaborates with clinical, management, and support personnel to coordinate both on-site and off-site physical exams, corporate services, and injury care. They support physicians and other healthcare professionals in clinical and administrative functions, including the development and management of appointment systems, maintenance of medical records, and employer and patient relations. The manager is also responsible for coordinating provider scheduling and appointment utilization, ensuring integration of services throughout the healthcare system. The Employee Health Clinic Manager RN will also manage the HCA/St. David's Employee Health and Safety Program for external employers, serving as a Case Manager and Registered Nurse for Occupational Health Services. This includes planning, implementing, and evaluating systems and programs to meet the occupational health needs of the facility and the populations served. The manager will investigate and track all active exposures, injuries, near misses, and reports of hazardous conditions, promoting an interdisciplinary approach to resolving employee health issues. They will ensure compliance with health policies and procedures, lead health and safety committee meetings, and participate in facility meetings as appropriate. Additionally, the manager will oversee employee health programs, maintain employee health files, and collaborate with market and division employee health teams.
