About The Position

At LoanPeople, we believe the employee experience should be organized, thoughtful, and technology-forward from the first candidate interaction through an employee’s final day.   We are looking for someone who enjoys owning and improving processes from start to finish. In this role, you will help coordinate key parts of the employee lifecycle - including recruiting coordination, onboarding, employee check-ins, and offboarding - while helping ensure our systems and processes scale as the company grows.    This role can be a great opportunity for someone who has supported areas of the employee experience lifecycle - such as recruiting coordination or onboarding - and is ready to take ownership of a process for the first time.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Human Resources experience
  • 2+ years of experience in the mortgage industry
  • Experience supporting the employee lifecycle, including areas such as recruiting coordination, onboarding, or employee experience
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new systems, manage HR platforms, and identify opportunities to improve workflows through technology
  • Interest in leveraging technology and systems to improve processes and efficiency
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
  • Must reside in the Austin, Texas area

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate candidate experience, including job postings, sourcing, interview scheduling, and candidate communication
  • Track recruiting activity and maintain an organized candidate pipeline
  • Coordinate onboarding logistics, including documentation, scheduling, system setup coordination, and new hire milestone check-ins
  • Coordinate and support onboarding activities, including occasional travel to company locations to assist with new hire onboarding and training logistics
  • Support training coordination and help ensure smooth handoffs between recruiting, HR, and hiring managers, and operational teams
  • Maintain employee records, documentation and internal HR resources
  • Assist with employee referrals, HR systems administration, and internal tools such as SharePoint and ADP
  • Coordinate offboarding logistics and documentation to ensure a professional and organized exit process
  • Help maintain and improve HR systems and tools, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and improve process efficiency
  • Support office operations and facilities coordination, including workspace setup, vendor and equipment coordination, and maintaining an organized and welcoming office environment
  • Support Culture Committee initiatives, employee engagement activities, and company events
  • Contribute to a collaborative, client-focused, and inclusive workplace culture while helping reinforce company values
