About The Position

Develops and leads initiatives to enhance employee engagement, foster a positive company culture and support OneBlood’s vision and values. This position can be located in St. Petersburg, Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale or Charlotte

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or other related field from an accredited college or university and five (5) years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.
  • Ability to organize work for timely completion
  • Ability to delegate, manage and supervise effectively
  • Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing at all levels both inside and outside of the organization
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with all levels both inside and outside of the organization
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong analytical skills with consultative approach in resolving complex issues
  • Ability to write general business correspondence and prepare executive-level presentations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time
  • Ability to commute with personal transportation.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Institute certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Designs and implements employee engagement strategies that align with company goals and promote a positive work environment
  • Manages day-to-day performance of assigned staff; ensuring hiring, performance planning, coaching and evaluations occur
  • Establishes and manages employee surveys, ambassador groups and other feedback mechanisms; analyzes results and presents recommendations to leadership
  • Develops and manages recognition and reward programs to celebrate employee achievements and milestones
  • Coordinates with internal communication teams to keep employees informed and engaged in company goals and events
  • Organizes company events, town halls, team-building activities and other events to boost morale and foster team collaboration
  • Develops project proposals, charters, progress reports, requests for proposal responses, grant applications and other documents and presentations
  • Provides analytical and project management support; directs, coordinates and reviews all deliverables specified by employee engagement projects while managing the day-today operational and tactical aspects
  • Monitors industry trends and employee engagement best practices to make informed recommendations and improve programs.
