About The Position

The Employee Dining Room (EDR) Supervisor will direct, train and monitor performance of EDR staff, while maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas and equipment. This role will also support the EDR department with scheduling needs.  Additional responsibilities will include setting up, maintaining and breaking down the food lines, and serving scheduled meals to hotel employees, courteously and efficiently in accordance with hotel standards. The ideal candidate will exemplify the philosophy and mission of Eau Resort & Spa. We have a full-time position available.   This role is a flexible position (AM / PM), and all candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays, and nights. This role is designated for our Employee Dining Room.

Requirements

  • 3 years’ experience as a Prep Cook at a hotel restaurant or institutional kitchen.
  • Food handling certificate.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with hotel personnel to their understanding.
  • Ability to provide legible communication.
  • Ability to do basic arithmetic.

Nice To Haves

  • High school graduate or equivalent vocational training.
  • Previous Culinary training.
  • Previous experience in restaurant service.
  • Knowledge of food preparation and handling.
  • Certification in sanitation.
  • Familiarity with proper sanitation regulations.
  • Ability to communicate in a foreign language, preferably Spanish
