The Employee Dining Attendant supports Colonial Country Club’s Employee Dining Room (EDR) by ensuring all team members receive timely, high-quality meals in a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. This role is responsible for maintaining food stations, monitoring inventory, restocking items, and upholding sanitation standards. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional service to our employees.

Requirements

  • Prior food service or hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
  • Basic understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, service-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift (up to 30 lbs).
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, restock, and maintain all Employee Dining Room (EDR) food, beverage, and grab-and-go stations, including preparing iced tea, coffee, water, salads, sandwiches, wraps, and entrée items.
  • Review daily menu, update and replace labels for rotating items, and ensure all food is properly labeled, stored, rotated, and presented according to health and safety standards.
  • Take opening, mid-day, and closing inventory of food and beverage items; monitor stock levels throughout the day and communicate needs to kitchen staff.
  • Prepare equipment for service by filling hot dog and soup wells with water, setting out utensils, filling the ice cooler, and turning on TVs.
  • Support service by checking employees into the meal tracking system and providing friendly, helpful assistance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized EDR and break room by wiping tables and counters, sweeping messes, washing and storing dishes and utensils, and ensuring service areas remain tidy.
  • Perform end-of-day cleaning including emptying and sanitizing iced tea and coffee containers; draining, cleaning, and unplugging hot dog and soup wells; cleaning the hot dog roller; emptying the ice cooler; collecting utensils; changing buffet table linens; cleaning filters; putting chairs up; sweeping floors; and turning off TVs.
  • Follow all sanitation and safety guidelines and report any equipment issues or safety concerns.
  • Assist with basic food preparation (slicing, portioning, plating, and assembling items) and support special employee meal events as needed.
  • Other job duties as assigned.
