About The Position

The Employee Communications: Strategic Initiatives EHS communicator will be part of the Communications+Brand team at DPR Construction. This role focuses on building, executing, and measuring the effectiveness of a strategic communications program aimed at promoting safety initiatives for employees, partners, and the public. The communicator will work closely with EHS leaders and stakeholders to effectively convey the company's safety philosophy and achievements, requiring a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and strong writing skills.

Requirements

• 7+ years' experience in Employee Communications, Corporate Communications, and/or Brand Marketing.
• Experience with content writing and publishing, including newsletters, presentations, marketing materials, blogs, and social media.
• Comfort with designing and promoting communications campaigns.
• Experience with content management systems, social media platforms, video, and digital tools.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage a high volume of activity.
• Ability to prioritize and manage expectations across multiple complex projects/priorities.
• Proven project and stakeholder management expertise, including executive management.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Distributed workforce and/or AEC experience preferred.
• Spanish language skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a safety communications consultant, sharing insights across DPR whenever appropriate.
• Act as a journalist and editor, producing and distributing high-quality content that supports EHS goals.
• Collaborate with internal partners to activate and share priority messages and campaigns across the organization.
• Optimize channel use to reach various geographic and demographic audiences.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with a wide range of employees.
• Collect and analyze data to support understanding of communications tactics and performance; adjust and optimize regularly based on benchmarks and KPIs.
