About The Position

Acrisure's West Division is a large operational region in Acrisure, with a significant book of business in the Commercial and Employee Benefits segments. With this in mind, we continue to develop ways to efficiently care for and address our clients' needs, all while maintaining a business model that allows for the growth of the Team and Acrisure. Acrisure is a fast-growing fintech leader that operates a global insurance broker. Acrisure provides a broad array of insurance and financial related solutions, including commercial property and casualty, personal lines and employee benefits insurance, real estate services, cyber services and asset and wealth management. Acrisure's massively valuable, high margin distribution network combines the strength of trusted advisors with growth and efficiency enabled by AI. This role reports to the Shared Services Operations Manager—Employee Benefits and is responsible for providing employee benefits & HR compliance support for the West Division.

Requirements

  • Possess an understanding of fundamental benefit laws, regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Strong ability to identify and resolve problems utilizing standard guidelines.
  • Proficiency with employee benefit plan types and structure.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, along with a demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills with agency management software systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Attend virtual or in-person conferences to further education/expertise, when needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Life/Health Agent License preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly communications email for the Compliance Newsletter.
  • Deploy standardized workflows for employee benefits compliance.
  • Set-up and renew the Health Plan Compliance Calendar.
  • Respond to the account management team pertaining to the system reminders.
  • Keep other reminders and compliance documents updated as needed.
  • Develop templated client communication for account management team.
  • Train and mentor account management team on compliance-related items.
  • Manage subscriptions to HR California, BLR, Galileo, Mineral, etc.
  • Coordinate compliance requirements and best practices with the home office compliance team.
  • Manage access to the online portal for ERISA Wrap, Premium Only Plan documents, and Benefits Notices.
  • Interact or communicate with the Account Management Team as directed.
