About The Position

Requirements

  • Proven experience in employee benefits administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with HR systems such as Lawson, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or Workday is highly desirable.
  • Strong negotiation skills to advocate for employee needs effectively.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to employee benefits and payroll processing.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct employee orientation sessions to explain benefits packages and enrollment procedures.
  • Assist employees in understanding their benefits options and help them navigate the enrollment process.
  • Research insurance providers to secure competitive rates and comprehensive coverage for employees.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee benefits enrollments and changes using systems such as Salesforce, Oracle, Employee Navigator, or other benefit administration platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements related to employee benefits.
  • Collaborate with payroll departments to ensure accurate deductions for benefits.
  • Stay updated on HIPAA regulations and other relevant laws to ensure compliance in all benefit-related activities.
  • Provide ongoing support to employees regarding their benefits inquiries and issues.
