Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years in employee benefits account management, with a focus on large group accounts and captives.
  • Active Life & Health (L&H) license required.
  • Proficiency in EPIC software and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and present effectively to C-level management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of employee benefits accounts, focusing on large group accounts and captives.
  • Oversee the renewal process, marketing efforts, and open enrollment activities.
  • Quote and market new and renewal business to ensure competitive pricing and coverage.
  • Collaborate with producers and other account managers to deliver tailored solutions for clients.
  • Maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide expert guidance to clients.
  • Utilize EPIC software to manage accounts and ensure accurate documentation.
