Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to obtain insurance licenses and designations as set forth by the organization's education plans.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily support to account managers and employees' benefits group health accounts.
• Processes eligibility additions, terminations, and changes.
• Assists in keeping the Benefit Point system and Employee Navigator up to date and maintained for groups.
• Assists in the preparation of renewal kits, including benefits guides, employee paperwork, etc.
• Handles inbound calls as needed.
• Learns all Employee Benefits service standards and procedures, including daily service.
• Acts as backup to the Receptionist.
• Documents all correspondence and follows up for necessary information updates at appropriate times.
• Works together with team and with other departments, such as Marketing, Accounting and Producers, etc.
• Manages PTO to work with departmental needs.
• Volunteers to back up and/or assist others as needed.
• Displays commitment and initiative to meet department and agency education goals as set forth in the organization’s education program.
