The Coordinator of Employee and Labor Relations is accountable for assisting the Manager with Doctors Medical Center's employee and labor relations' activity. This position ensures understanding and interpretation of policies, procedures, and programs to enhance management/staff relations. The Coordinator functions as a resource and advisor to management on employee and labor relations matters, listens to employee concerns, and informs management of issues or concerns. They track and trend employee concerns and develop action plans to address them, meet with managers and employees, investigate issues, and recommend solutions. The role also involves regular communication with other members of the HR Department, which may impact, or be impacted by, various employee issues, and assisting the Manager with labor relations' activity for all Collective Bargaining Agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Manager of Employee and Labor Relations with employee and labor relations activities.
  • Ensure understanding and interpretation of policies, procedures, and programs to enhance management/staff relations.
  • Function as a resource and advisor to management on employee and labor relations matters.
  • Listen to employee concerns and inform management of issues or concerns.
  • Track and trend employee concerns and develop action plans to address them.
  • Meet with managers and employees to investigate issues and recommend solutions.
  • Communicate regularly with other members of the HR Department regarding employee issues.
  • Assist with labor relations' activity for all Collective Bargaining Agreements.
  • Work with all levels of management to assure the consistent application of Collective Bargaining Agreements.
