About The Position

The Associate Optometrist at LensCrafters is a key leader responsible for delivering high-quality optometric care and ensuring an exceptional patient experience. This role emphasizes collaboration with the store team and management to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) while fostering a positive culture and maintaining high standards of patient service. The Associate Optometrist is also tasked with training team members and ensuring compliance with clinical protocols and standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Ensures executional excellence and winning results in partnership with the MOD and store team.

• Addresses all patients/customers visual lifestyle needs and makes eyewear recommendations based on their needs.
• Explains each step of the eye exam and listens carefully to patients/customers.
• Utilizes available tools and visual aids to summarize and ensure patients understand each aspect of their vision, eye health, and overall well-being.
• Communicates effectively with patients about the need for annual eye exams.
• Conducts all services in accordance with protocol and accepted standards of care.
• Ensures all patients receive accurate diagnosis and appropriate recommendations.
• Establishes a positive Doctor/patient relationship.
• Utilizes and leverages effectively all technology to deliver unsurpassed patient/customer experiences.
• Ensures office systems are maintained and safe working environment for all associates/patients.
• Maintains State Licensure in good standing and practices to the full scope of that license.
• Provides effective training and guidance to team members using Company provided programs.
• Delivers clear, motivating and constructive feedback in a timely manner to all associates.
• Creates a positive culture linked to the corporate culture and encourages associate decision making at the level closest to the patient.
