Responsibilities

  • Responsible for cooling design of electric motors for Electric Vehicle applications
  • Create thermal models for electric motors based on operating conditions and cooling method
  • Perform thermal analysis and design optimization
  • Work with electrical design engineer to finalize electro-magnetic design
  • Work with CAD designers to develop prints for all mechanical parts
  • Work with transmission design team to define cooling method and cooling demand for electric motors.
  • Develop cooling system for electric motor test housing for dyno tests.
  • Build, test and evaluate electric motor prototypes
  • Responsible for cooling design of electric motors for Electric Vehicle applications
