About The Position

The EMIS Coordinator position at North Coast Shared Services Alliance (NCSSA) is a vital role designed to enhance the operational efficiency of educational services across multiple school districts in Northeast Ohio. This position is specifically hired by the Educational Service Center of Northeast Ohio and is responsible for coordinating and overseeing all EMIS-related projects. The EMIS Coordinator will play a crucial role in member outreach, planning, and the development of EMIS-related services and products, acting as a liaison between various departments and external partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration. In this role, the EMIS Coordinator will assist in designing and implementing comprehensive training programs for staff members and partners on EMIS procedures and operations. This includes training on data entry, retrieval, error resolution, and report generation. The Coordinator will also provide leadership and support in personnel management within the EMIS department, ensuring that all team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively. The EMIS Coordinator will work closely with school districts to guide them in correcting required informational reports generated by EMIS or other automated systems. This involves assessing the quality of data entered for each EMIS reporting cycle and providing feedback to improve accuracy and compliance. The Coordinator will attend meetings as a liaison for EMIS, collaborating with stakeholders to create, develop, and deliver EMIS services based on feedback from members and staff. Additionally, the EMIS Coordinator will evaluate existing products and services, recommend enhancements, and implement changes to improve overall service delivery. This role requires maintaining expertise in relevant software and hardware applications, providing rapid solutions to customer inquiries, and developing training programs and reports using available tools. The Coordinator will also be responsible for testing new versions of application software and ensuring confidentiality in all work responsibilities. A professional image must be maintained through effective interpersonal skills, including courtesy, positivity, and cooperation with other ITC site personnel.
