EMG Specialist Independent Contractor
About The Position
Concentra is seeking a Physiatrist / Neurologist to work on-site as a 1099 independent contractor, performing EMGs and NCS. This contract position is designed to complement an existing practice, typically involving a 4-hour shift on a weekly or biweekly basis. Concentra Advanced Specialists manage medically complex patients, aiming to expedite return to work and functional restoration. The specialist will collaborate with medical and therapy providers to deliver services, primarily EMGs and NCS, for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries, making a significant impact on patients' lives.
Requirements
- Meet licensure requirements of the state of practice
- Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
- Possess an unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction
- Be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology or Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Have Medical Malpractice Insurance which will cover you while on site
Nice To Haves
- Preferred experience in treating patients with work related injuries
