About The Position
The Emerging Technology Tech Scout position at Booz Allen is designed for experienced management consultants who can provide valuable insights into organizational operations, particularly in the context of cybersecurity. In this role, you will be tasked with analyzing various aspects of client operations, identifying areas for improvement, and offering actionable recommendations to enhance business processes and achieve mission success. Your work will involve engaging with stakeholders through discussions and workshops to gain a comprehensive understanding of their current structure and operations. This understanding will enable you to present a clear path forward, detailing the expected outcomes to the Department of Defense (DoD). As a general management consultant, you will leverage your expertise in technology research and alternatives analysis to support clients in navigating the complexities of their business environments. You will be responsible for ensuring that technology deployments adhere to security measures, manage system resources effectively, and facilitate technology interoperability. Your role will also include providing technical assessments of emerging technologies, vendor solutions, and both Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) applications. This position offers a unique opportunity to deepen your consulting skills while contributing to the evolution of the DoD's cybersecurity capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with at least three years of experience in technology research and deployment. You will be expected to stay abreast of emerging technologies and provide insights that can help clients make informed decisions about their technology investments. This role is not only about providing recommendations but also about fostering a collaborative environment where clients feel empowered to implement changes that will lead to improved operational efficiency and effectiveness.
