About The Position

The Emerging Talent Training Specialist is responsible for delivering engaging and effective learning experiences to early-career professionals. This role facilitates virtual training sessions, collects learner feedback, and supports content creation and continuous improvement efforts. As a claims-handling subject matter expert, the Specialist will refine, augment, and maintain claims-handling best practices, delivering comprehensive, end-to-end training to new hires enrolled in the Emerging Talent INVEST Program. Note: Participants in this program are typically entry-level and may have limited or no prior professional experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional patience, empathy, and the ability to coach and support learners at a highly detailed, foundational level. For this opening, we are seeking for someone preferably with Auto PD claims experience. Candidates must be available to work standard business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in organizational development, human resources, business, or related field
  • 5+ years directly applicable experience in insurance or financial brokerage
  • Proficient in developing and following individual work plan(s)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in using MS Office applications with key strengths in PowerPoint, Visio, and Project

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certification (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance; CPLP) or equivalent training experience preferred
  • Insurance and/or customer service learning and development experience preferred
  • Auto PD Claims Experience

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate instructor-led training in a virtual classroom environment
  • Engage learners using adult learning principles and a variety of delivery methods
  • Adapt instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and pace
  • Collect and report on learner feedback and training effectiveness
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of training delivery and materials
  • Develop, administer, and evaluate program checkpoints
  • Review and revise curriculum for accuracy, clarity, and relevance
