During this 12-week program, you'll learn more about Centene and how we're transforming the health of the community, one person at a time. Position Purpose: Learn about various processes and functions within the Managed Care industry and develop professionally by contributing to projects that support the business. Learn various job functions within the Managed Care industry and explore various career opportunities Apply academic knowledge and learn new skills by contributing to various projects Research various legal, regulatory, and other topics within functional area and industry Attend training and development presentations to enhance professional competencies Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all policies and standards Please note this position is remote. This role is intentionally designed to support the 2026 Emerging Talent priorities by: strengthening how we communicate with interns, leaders, and alumni across the full lifecycle, creating scalable, reusable program assets (not one-off work), and formalizing an Experiential Learning / Co-Op playbook so we can expand beyond the summer intern model in a structured way. The internship is fully project-based with two clear capstones: 1. a repeatable Emerging Talent communications and engagement system (template library). 2. an Experiential Learning & Co-Op scaling playbook that leaders can easily understand and adopt.
