Requirements

DVM or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited program
Eligible for or currently holding a Virginia veterinary license
DEA license (or ability to obtain)
Experience or strong interest in emergency medicine
Team-oriented mindset and commitment to high-quality care
Strong medical, surgical, and diagnostic skills across emergency medicine
Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities
Collaborates effectively in a fast-paced, client-centered environment
Commitment to maintaining professional ethics, safety, and high-quality patient care
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and safely handle animals up to 130 pounds
Comfortable sitting, standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods throughout your scheduled shift
Professional, neat appearance consistent with hospital standards
